- Responsibilities includes: Review of half yearly and annual financial statements of the mutual funds
- Issuance of Annual & half yearly Trustee Reports of Mutual Funds Monitoring of transactional and monthly compliances of Mutual Funds according to NBFC Rules and Regulations
- Review new Product papers and suggesting changes in process and identification of irregularities
- Review Consititutive Documents of mutual Funds such as Trust deeds and Offering Documents befor the launch of the Funds
- Monitor and implement the Standard operating procedures of the department
- Identification of non-compliances and reporting them to Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
- Liasioning with Asset Management Companies, Banks, Financial & System Auditors, Brokers, Counterparties and the Regulator

- Compliance of Non Banking Finance Companies Rules & Regulations, trust deeds, offering documents

- Reviewing of Trust Deed and Offering Document in accordance with the NBFC Rules, Regulation and SECP’s updated guidelines
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors and furnishing the documentation requirements for fulfilling their tasks
- Ensuring the control of all the property of the Open End Scheme, Closed End Scheme and Pension Funds and hold it in trust for the unit or certificate holders or participants in accordance with the Rules, Regulations and the provisions of the Constitutive Documents
- Ensure that the investment and borrowing limitations set out in the Regulations and the Constitutive Documents are complied with
- Ensure that the Asset Management Company has been diligent in appointing brokers to avoid undue concentration of business with any broker
- Reporting to the Commission if any action of the Asset Management Company contravenes the Ordinance, the Rules, these Regulations, Constitutive Documents, guidelines, codes, circulars, directives or any other applicable laws
