Directly responsible to Medical Superintendent for everything affecting the general welfare of the hospital and the comfort of the patients. She uses all the powers delegated by COO. The incumbent sets her own personal example of high level professional conduct and discipline to be followed by other members of health care providing teams and regularly maintains professional contact with them and the patients to confirm the compliance/satisfaction at all levels.

working with Executive Director to plan, organize, direct and lead the personnel and work process for quality improvement program.

Skillfully use the techniques of system design, reengineering, project management, quality improvement, outcome measurement and statistical analysis.

Performing vision test and analyze results.

Diagnose sight problems and prescribe eye glasses and contact lenses.

Evaluate patients for presence of diseases

Making diagnosis and formulating treatment plan which might involve referral for surgery or use of more conservative orthoptic treatment.

Diagnosis and treatment of refractive errors, misalignments and other ocular diseases.

undertaking visual field assessment and participated in extended role activities such as glaucoma monitoring and low vision assessment.

Maintaining involvement in department research projects, the collection of clinical data and establishment of protocol.

Offering continuity of care of patients ranging from babies to elderly.
