Preparation and implementation of QA/QC policies and procedures.
Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records.
Ensure that all electrical operations are executed following the relevant Codes and Standards, Subsidiaries' procedures, and Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
Raise WIR for inspection as per ITP and shop drawing.
Inspection of duct banks, PVC conduits for duct bank, spacers, and red dia.
Inspection of AGL system for RWY and TWY, cable pulling, and its grounding conductor.
Inspection of MV cable pulling, concrete red tiles, and warning tape.
Witness of continuity and IR test of LV and MV cables.
Raise RFI for inspection as per SATIP, SAIC, IFC, and Redline drawing.
Inspection as per HOLD POINT, Witness Point, and surveillance.
Inspection of EMT conduit and fittings for lighting, small power, HVAC, and FAS.
Inspection of PVC conduit and fittings for power and grounding inside the building, and for small power below tiles or in the concrete slab.
Inspection of FMC conduit and fittings for lighting, and liquid-tight flexible conduit for HVAC outdoor units.
Check cable laying and cable identification.
Witness of LV cable testing before cable pulling and before termination.
Witness of cable continuity, IR test, termination, torqueing, and marking.
Verification of the implementation of corrective and preventive actions against nonconformities, and reporting results to the QA/QC Engineer and line managers, if necessary.
Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plans.
Check and test in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan the installation of electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, power transformers, switchboards, socket outlets, lighting systems, etc.
Conduct QTB and proactive notification of upcoming activity.
Maintain and update the RFI Master log weekly, and attend weekly quality meetings with clients.
Coordinating with civil, mechanical, and telecom to finalise the electrical drawing and activity.
Material receiving and inspection of EMT, PVC, and RGS conduit and accessories as per PO and DN.
Material receiving and inspection of grounding rods, grounding cables, and accessories as per PO and DN.
Material receiving of LV panel boards and making internal inspection as per PO and DN.
Material receiving and inspection of street lighting poles and lights, flood lighting poles and lights, and inside building lights as per PO and DN.
Material receiving and inspection for electrical PACU Units, ACCU, and area poles as per PO and DN.
Liaise with client representatives concerning quality matters on site.
Identification of non-calibrated equipment and informing Subcontractor QC for expediting arrangements with calibration agencies for timely calibration of the equipment.
Monitoring and inspection of loop checking.
Raise IRF for inspections as per the inspection checklist and IFC drawing.
Inspection of storage areas, and protection of materials.
Inspection of conduit, cable tray, fittings, and cable pulling.
Inspection of the normal socket, RCD, industrial socket, and SS-type duplex socket.
Inspection of lighting panel, power panel, and UPS panel.
Inspection of bus bars, main breaker, equipment grounding, termination, torquing, and marking.
First, check the calibration of the tester/meter.
Witness of lighting functional testing, receptacle, and normal circuit testing through Socket Tester.
Witness of feeder and panel testing through Multifunction Meter.
Witness of check phase rotation through Phase Rotation Tester/Meter.
Attend weekly or monthly QA/QC meetings with Consultants, BACS, and others.
Inspection of grounding for lighting poles, and fence grounding.
Witness of Circuit Breaker Trip Test, CR Test, and IR Test.
Bus bar contact and insulation resistance, and hi-pot test.
Meter test, auxiliary relay pick-up, drop-up voltage, and relay reset timing test.
Inspection of ladder-type cable tray installation, cable tray grounding, and cable tray bending.
Inspection of grounding grid, equipment grounding cable, bus bar, and air terminal installation.
Inspection of battery installation, cell-to-cell connection, charging and discharging, battery cable installation, and battery disconnect switch installation.
Inspection of grounding rod installation and resistance test.
Inspection for installation of glands and cable tagging, junction box, and switchboard.
Reviewing all material in compliance with contract specifications and drawings.
Ensure that all materials and equipment delivered on site are as per approved documents.
Conduct field and off-site inspection and testing as per specification and drawing.
Witness and verify continuity, Hi-pot, grounding, and insulation resistance testing for medium voltage and low voltage cables and equipment.
Monitor quality control on construction progress activities.
Obtain written approval for various drawings and samples of the material used.
Ensure that all electrical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specifications, and work plans.
Review the contractor's QA/QC Plan, and agree on any revisions with the contractor before the commencement of the works.
