  • Gather information of different type of vessels, such as, Dry Cargo, Bulk Carriers, General Cargo vessels, Ro-Ro Vessels ,Liquid cargo vessels, Crude carriers, Product Carriers, Chemical Carriers, LNG Carriers etc., which are calling at Pakistani Ports.
  • Organize reports for daily berthing & sailing vessels, vessels handle by different agent in order to track how much volume import/export of different commodities to / form Pakistani Ports.
  • Compile different commodities statistics, such as, Coal, Dap, Chemical, Petroleum, LNG, Ethanol, Wheat, Cement, Clinker, etc.
  • Attend / prepare Business & Operational and Proforma Disbursement Account (PDA) for all type of commodities such as Oil, Gas, Chemical, Petroleum, LNG, LPG, Dry/Project/Break Bulk & many more.
    Prepare / send monthly Agency Vessels data.
    Feeding SOF / Sail / PDAs in the relevant systems.
    Arrange & Manage and advance payments from principal and final settlement when the voyage is complete.
  • Liaise with accounts for the preparation of invoices ensuring shipping costs are calculated accurately and passed onto customer.
  • To streamline the disbursement process and ensure the timely receipt of funds from Principals for their vessels.
    Negotiate rates with local contractors, suppliers, vendors etc. and prepare tariffs / bills for Principal, ensuring the require profit margins are achieved.
  • Arrange all pre-arrival documents before vessel arrival.Provide necessary information such as, Notice of Arrival, Notice of Readiness to Receiver, Shippers and or other concerned parties regarding their vessel / cargo etc.
  • Reply the message from Principal / Master, sending port / other relevant information as per their requirement.
  • Sending declarations / berthing / sailing request to PA Prepare / send Time sheet / SOF / cargo sailing documents
  • Prepare and send weekly line-up and inform berthing prospects to all concerns including vessel(s), Principal(s), Receiver(s) etc.
  • Checking shipment tracking report and its follow up. Filing IGM in Weboc and feeding of bl’s in local software of all vessels
    Submit P.C in Weboc system
    Letters (surveyors, ship handlers, stevedores, vendors, boat arrange, etc)
  • Communicate and monitor suppliers for effective handling of ship / Master / Crew requirements.
    Maintaining accurate records of vessel activities, including cargo manifests, port clearances, and compliance documentation.
    Generating reports on vessel performance and operational metrics.
  • Arrangements for engine room / deck / cargo hold cleaning as per vessel requirements.
    Arrangements of provisions, spares parts delivery through nominated vendors as per master requirements.
  • Coordination / follow up with bunker suppliers in case of bunkering on vessel at PKPQ1. / PKKHI
    Handling all Husbandry Services for Bulk & Container Vessels.
  • Ensure sending old shipping & boarding files to archive department, and E-mail archive also.
    Prepare / Updating Maersk Container vessel list & if any vessel has been added, the MFF must be kept ready so that everything is timely before the arrival of the vessel.
  • The master of a Maersk vessel needs to send port information before the vessel's arrival to facilitate smooth berthing, including port restrictions and the vessel's requirements as requested by the master.
  • Close coordination with (WCA) Maersk Line UAE office i.e. Husbanding Manager and all vessels operators for vessels berthing / sailings plans etc.
  • Learning and implementing all relevant operational skills related to shipping industry.
