• At present, I am working in National Accountability Bureau as Assistant Director/Investigation Officer Following are job responsibilities:
• a. Inquiry and Investigation of White Collar Crimes
• Being Investigation Officer, job is to carry out investigations of cases of corruption and corrupt practices such as misuse of authority, accumulating assets beyond means, financial frauds and cheating members of public at large. Recently I have worked on cases of misappropriation of public funds, cheating public at large and financial frauds. It is imperative to curtail corruption in a resource-deficient country.
• b. Identifying loopholes in policies of various institutions through prevention committees
• Another important responsibility is to conduct analysis of policy framework of various institutions to detect loopholes in policies and then suggest reform measures. To carry out this responsibility, we have Prevention Committees. For example, Our Prevention Committees on Irrigation and Health Department produced positive results after identifying gaps in policy frameworks of these two institutions and suggesting reform measures to boost their working. Therefore, our Prevention Committees play cardinal role in boosting institutional capacity and public administration in our country.
• c. Spreading awareness about ill-effects of corruption in society
• Thirdly, we also spread awareness about ill-effects of corruption and corrupt practices in society. In this regard, seminars, educational and socio-cultural events and other functions are conducted. Media Campaigns are run. After all, Public awareness creates pressure of public servants to keep from corruption.
• Moreover, prosecution of cases in accountability courts is also carried out by us.

Following were my responsibilities:

a) Investigation of blue collar crimes

b) Ensuring law and order in society

c) Protecting dignity, property and life of people

d) Resolving instant complaints at Khidmat Markaz

e) Community Policing

During my two and a half years at Punjab Police, I resolved hundreds of complaints of people, performed numerous law and order duties, facilitated maximum number of people with their issues.

Following were my job resposibilities:

• Law enforcement, imposed fines upon violations, Investigated suspicious activities, deterring potential criminal behavior and maintaining community security.
• Prepared detailed reports documenting daily patrols, incidents encountered, and actions taken during shifts.
• Performed rescue functions at accidents, emergencies and disasters by directing traffic and administering emergency medical aid.
• Developed positive relationships within the community through outreach programs and regular interaction with citizens. And spread awareness about road safety and its regulations.

Following were job responsibilities:

a) Identifying new business prospects and opportunities for business

c) Preparing reports and proposals regarding business opportunities

b) Meeting potential clients and discussing ideas and opportunities

c) Fostering relationship with clients

During time with this agency aim was to find opportunities and areas in public sector where existing institutional structures be replaced with IT-based solutions to improve public service delivery was successful at identifying many areas in public sector which had potential to be replaced by IT-based systems.
