I have joined RMPS (Retail Merchants Payments Service) as Head of Business in October 2019 and my core responsibility was to create Merchant Acquiring Infrastructure and use cases on top of the infrastructure along with merchant network expansion and project delivery of UPI QRC project for 10k retails merchants
RMPS has successfully onboarded 10k QRC merchants for UPI under strategic partnership with Dubai Islamic Bank and Paysys Labs for onward launch of E-Commerce and POS acquiring infrastructure as UPI TPSP by creating a JV partnership
Tapsys, a joint venture of RMPS & Paysys Labs had resumed its operations in Q3 2020
Both entities had joined hands to bridge the gap between the Acquiring institutions and the merchants by providing them complete end to end payment solution under partnership with global payment scheme, DIB and UBL for E-Com & POS ISO partnership in 2021
Tapsys as Outsourcing Service Partner (OSP) of UBL & DIBPL had also partnered with leading payment enablers OPay (OP Digital - Hong Kong) & PayNet (Omega - UAE) as aggregator in 2021 to provide them way-in into Pakistani digital payment landscape
