• Assisted in both elected and emergency laparotomy and emergency appendectomy.
• Learned valuable stitching skill in the OT, proper OT etiquette, and various emergency procedures, i.e. abscess draining, dressing, wound care, and diabetic wound care.

• Managed obstetrics and gynecological emergencies
• Performed vaginal deliveries and dilation and curettage on various patients.
• Actively participated in cesarean sections and assessed neonates, assisted in total hysterectomy.
• Performed IUCD removals both in out patient department and in the OT
• Learnt proper gynecological and obstetrics history taking and examination under the supervision of seniors and learnt management of common gynecological diseases seen ni OPDs.

MEDICINE ROTATION (3 months):

• Learnt basic management and diagnostic skills during medicine rotation,
• Performed ascetic and pleural taps on the patients.
• Completed a 15 day rotation in medical ICU and learnt immense valuable skills
  during the time period under the supervision of senior medical doctors, i.e.; CPR, vent patient care, arterial and venipuncture blood sampling, to name a few.
• Completed a 15 day rotation ni the Dermatology outpatient department. Learnt how to diagnose and treat common dermatological diseases, under the supervision of highly trained seniors.
• Completed a 15 day rotation in Neurology outpatient department.
• Learnt proper clinical approach to patients during outpatient rotation

PEDIATRICS ROTATION (3 months):

• Basic managing skills acquired from rotation in ward, NICU, and PICU.
• Managed pediatric emergency, and performed CPR on newborns.
• Performed peritoneal dialysis on pediatric patients, learnt proper care of patients on ventilator support
• Gained the necessary exposure and experience on to professionally manage patients in pediatric OPD
