Smart Building Application:

• Worked with DevOps team that is responsible for maintaining and modernizing smart building solutions based on .NET Core, Java, Node and SharePoint.
• Responsibility included creating CI/CD pipelines, developing release policies, and User access control and resource provisioning on the Cloud platform.
• Worked with cross-functional design teams to solutions that improved overall functionality and performance.
• Migrating chatbots services from the PaaS platform to AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services) using helm and containerization
• Created Helm charts and upgraded Kubernetes clusters to the required versions in different environments.
• Established dashboards on Azure for monitoring health checks, exceptions and service degradations.
• Monitored automated build and continuous software integration process to drive build/release failure resolution.
• Created scripts with regard to database maintenance and to fetch and upload secrets on key vaults.
• Working on build-validation policy and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities are as follows:

• As a DevOps person, I was working with developers in which I was responsible to develop process layout for the containerization of the services
• I was involved in setting up Managed Services Plan for the company's new department
• Which involves information collection through Microsoft Partner Center and working with customers to help them move toward CSP Programs

Application Modernization of .NET Core Application:

• Designing and process creation for the containerization of the components from a monolithic to a micro-services-based approach
• Creating multi-stage Dockerfile for multiple components of the application like console, APIs and connectors
• Implementing Docker Compose for the development environment with on-premises Virtual Machines
• Creating CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps Services to build and deploy releases to Development, UAT and Production environment
• Resource provisioning through ARM template with re-usability aspects for different environments
• Automation related to the update of the packages for the new versions of D365FO was carried out.

My responsibilities were divided into two parts:

Azure Managed Services Provider - Cloud Engineer:

• Meeting with customers for the technical discovery calls, gathering relevant information, and proposing solutions on high-level overview.
• Implemented Cloud Adoption Framework with end-to-end cloud migration and hybrid cloud approach.
• Managed part of the team for the cloud solutions operations and architecture design with delivery, as well as working on SOWs for the customers.
• Automated routine tasks and tracking documentation of operations.

DevOps department - DevOps Engineer:

• Responsibilities include provisioning CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps services with Pipeline as a code using Multi-stage pipeline.
• Worked on application modernization with containers, application performance monitoring, caching, and deployment policies.
• Created a containerized environment using Terraform (IaC) using module based approach.

Tools: Azure DevOps Services, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Prisma Cloud Security, Hyper-V, Bitbucket, and Azure Boards/JIRA etc.

Responsibility and Project Highlights:

• Deployed Azure Web App, VMs, and Azure Storage Services.
• Initiated technical discovery with clients related to cloud solutions and services.
• Implemented automation with respect to horizontal and vertical scaling of the resources.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation with RBAC for users
• Implementation of containerization for .NET Core application and Linux administration.

Understanding of DevOps Lifecycle and Culture

• RBAC on Azure DevOps along with working on Azure DevOps Services.
• Azure Boards, CI/CD in Azure Pipelines, Azure Git Repos, and Azure Artifacts.
• Understanding of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes and Terraform.
