As an Automation and Manual Testing Engineer at xiQ, I was responsible for ensuring product quality and reliability through effective testing strategies. My role involved developing and executing detailed test cases, automating testing processes, and collaborating closely with development teams to effectively address and resolve issues.

At xiQ, I worked on testing two key platforms:

1) For the AI-powered sales and marketing platform, which analyzes LinkedIn profiles and applies DISC personality checks:

• Developed and executed detailed test cases for user authentication and company management features, leveraging manual testing techniques to identify and resolve critical bugs before production.
• Automated testing processes for user authentication and company interactions using Selenium and Java, leading to a 30% reduction in testing time and enhancing the overall efficiency of the QA process.
• Utilized Excel spreadsheets to support automated testing procedures, optimizing test data handling and improving the accuracy and efficiency of the testing process.
• Conducted thorough manual testing using various techniques such as smoke, sanity, and regression testing to ensure robust functionality and a seamless user experience.

2) For the email sending platform, which customizes and sends emails based on DISC personality analysis:

• Automated testing scenarios to ensure that all email types (digest, ad hoc, and AI-generated) were correctly processed and delivered. This included verifying that emails were sent to the intended audience without duplicates and that content was accurately generated and delivered through different servers (AWS, SendGrid, and Outlook).
• Tested the digest email functionality, which allows users to create and curate emails with multiple articles, ensuring that emails were compiled accurately and sent without any issues.
• Validated ad hoc email features, such as template modifications including buttons, colors, and links, to ensure that changes were applied correctly and emails were sent as designed.
• Verified AI email generation, ensuring that content was created based on user prompts, tailored to various personalities in the audience, and dispatched effectively through the designated servers.
• Applied TestNG and BDD Cucumber frameworks across both products to generate precise bug reports and track test results, improving communication and collaboration between QA and development teams.

• Participated in comprehensive testing for AI-powered sales and marketing platform, gaining hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
