- As Deputy Chief Manager in the IT Department, I oversee the management, administration, and maintenance of Oracle E-Business Suite applications, enterprise databases for the Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) system, as well as the Remote Monitoring & Data Acquisition System
- My responsibilities encompass solution architecture and design, system integration, change management, performance and patch management, implementations and upgrades, audit management, and ensuring license and regulatory compliance
- I also handle forecasting, sizing, planning, budgeting, data warehousing, vendor management, and technical consulting and support

- Performed in-house Upgrade of Oracle CC&B System from Version 2.3.1 to Version 2.4, which resulted in a direct implementation services cost saving of PKR 160 Million approx
- The Oracle CC&B System was also migrated from IBM p750 to p850 Server
- Planned and executed the strategy to migrate critical Business Systems, i.e
- Oracle EBS, Oracle CC&B Database and GIS Database, from outsourced DR-Site to SSGC’s established DR-Site at remote location including implementation of Data Guard for all the three Systems
