• Successfully executed 132kV GIS Getz Pharma along-with extension of 132kV Line bay at K-Electric KTGT G/s and 132kV U/G Transmission line from KTGT to Getz Pharma G/s. (Utility Company: K-Electric) as Project Manager. Responsible for Technical and Commercial aspects of Project. Project attained high level of success with great satisfaction of all Stakeholders.
• Currently executing Design, Manufacture, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 132 / 11kV GIS Grid Station (DHA Grid – 4) in Phase-VIII, DHA Karachi (Utility company: K-Electric) as Project Manager

Worked as Proposal Manager of 500kV, 220kV & 132 kV High Voltage Grid Station Projects. Following major activities were executed.

• Explore competent suppliers and vendors.
• Quantity estimation
• Commercial Terms, Technical Specifications and Drawings
• Focus on reducing Cost and improve Profitability.
• Preparation of Technical and Commercial offer
• Prepare detailed Risk sheets and its mitigation plan.
• Arrange necessary approvals from management at various stages of bidding.
• Negotiation with Client on Technical and Commercial Terms and Conditions.
• Negotiations with Vendors & Subcontractors to adhere price and delivery period.
• Finalization of customer price taking into account Customers position, competitive environment, risk situation, factory loading & costs / profitability.
• Adherence to QA processes for proper and systematic documentation.
• Analysis and creates the reports for the market trends & competitors.
• Handing over Project-to-Project Manager according to company guidelines

Responsibilities as Commodity Manager in Strategic Procurement Department includes.

• Technically and commercially evaluating offers.
• Negotiating Agreements with Suppliers to obtain best terms and conditions for Company
• Issuing purchase orders and supplements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conducting pre-qualification for inclusion of new Vendors in system.
• Floating inquiries, making comparative statements and technical clarifications with Suppliers, obtaining administrative and financial approvals from Management.

Responsible for Technical and Commercial aspects of Project. Projects attained high level of Company and Customer satisfaction. Major responsibilities working under PM domain includes;

• Preparation of Project Management Plan, Project milestones and scheduling, detailed planning and progress monitoring / reporting to ensure timely completion of Project
• Preparation of procurement plan, floating RFQs, making comparative statement, Technical clarifications for all Grid Station equipment.
• Selection of vendor, procurement of materials within budgeted cost and compliant to Client’s specifications.
• Correspondence with local and foreign suppliers for getting compliant design / submittal.
• Preparation of material submittals.
• Meetings with Client / Consultant for getting design freeze, timely approvals & Project progress reviews.
• Arrangements for Factory Acceptance Test.
• Create good working relationship with all stake holders of Project.
• Prepare Project schedule plan and close monitoring of activities with milestone dates and update progress of Project.
• Preparation of Project presentations, weekly & monthly progressive reports to sector & Company Management.
• Ensuring optimized material management, material planning & availability of material at site as per construction schedule.
• Arrangement of resources required at site.
• Monitoring of erection, testing & commissioning activities
• Support in Claim management.
• Identifying risk and take mitigation measures.
• Managing Technical / Non-Technical Site activities.
• Raising inspection call and successfully conducted Site Acceptance Test.
• Implementation of Quality management procedures
