Job Description of a Plumber

A plumber is a skilled tradesperson who installs, maintains, and repairs pipes, fixtures, and appliances that are connected to water and gas systems. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that these systems are functioning properly, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new and existing buildings, including sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting pipes, to prevent clogs and other issues.
• Repair: Repair and replace damaged or faulty pipes, fixtures, and appliances, including leaky faucets and clogged drains.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose problems with plumbing systems, using specialized tools and equipment.
