• To inspect various works in progress within his circle/region and to satisfy him that all the works/projects are carried out in accordance with the approved plans, standards, and specification and approved budget.
• Examine the books/documents of Divisional officers and their sub-ordinate staff relating to accounts and all other such matters. In case, he notices any serious delay or negligence on the part of the Divisional staff, he shall promptly send a report to the Chief Engineer.
• Accord Technical Sanction to the Detailed Cost Estimate and approve tenders up to the financial powers delegated to him by the Provincial Government from time to time.
• Approve the alignment of all new roads and bridges before starting of the work.
• To proceed to any place in his circle to report on any important design or work, or any serious accident or threatened danger connected with the works within his charge.
• Shall submit and recommend to the Chief Engineer all cases regarding the approval of tenders, pre-qualification, EOT, and for the Technical Sanction of Detailed Cost Estimates and grant of NOCS as and when received and recommended to him by the Executive Engineer.

• To keep close watch on his sub-divisional officers, issue instruction from time to time, train, coach, impart guidance and capacity building of and support staff under his direct supervision for efficient service delivery.
• Inspect various works to see that the approved structural designs are being adhered to at site. Any imperfection and change from the approved structural design shall be brought into the notice of the respective Superintending Engineer.
• Prepare and contribute to the annual procurement/development plan prepared for the department.
• Attend, submit, and defend the proceeding of arbitrations, related to work being executed in his Division.
• Responsible for efficient and effective planning of the projects including Govt. buildings, residential and non-residential, including internal water supply, internal electrification, HAVC, elevators, escalators, security appliances and generators etc.
• Upon completion of any project/activity, it is the duty of the Executive Engineer to close the accounts and to prepare the completion report as specified under the rules.

• Responsible to the Executive Engineer for the construction, machinery and equipment, maintenance, internal water supply and internal electrification of all Government buildings, on his charge.
• Responsible for collection and submission of all data required for the structural design to the Executive Engineer for works not assigned to the Consultants.
• Prepare PC- I/Cost Estimates of projects accordingly and submit the same to Executive Engineer for further checking and processing for approval from the competent forum.
• To keep a vigilant control over expenditure and to report monthly progress of work to the Divisional Officer or other authorities concerned.

Supervision of all civil & electrical work in the BTS site.

• Supervision of GSM Tower erection and electrical work.
• Errection of BTS shelter.
• Representative engineer of Conserve at the time of commissioning.
• Errection of tower with pile foundation.
• Supervision of the construction of the rooms for BTS sites.
• Errection of retaining wall.
• Estimation of the projects/Sites.

• Estimated quantities and material costs during project planning to support budgeting and costing.
• Supervised construction progress on-site, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly while maintaining safety protocols.
• Monitored execution of contract work for compliance with design plans and specifications.
• Managed subcontractors effectively, promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Managed quality assurance and laboratory testing for concreting operations.
• Conducted detailed site investigations to identify potential issues and develop appropriate remediation strategies.
• Established positive relationships with local authorities and community stakeholders, fostering goodwill and cooperation in project development.
