I have been working in the WAPDA Hospital Peshawar since September, 2022. I am gaining vast experience of seeing and treating both the opd and indoor unit patients adding to my medical practice experience under the direct supervision of the concerned consultants.

I am currently preparing for the upcoming usmle step 1 exam which is scheduled to be held in the february, 2024

• Managing ward , Er, and OPD patients
• Also working as a DMS
• I can manage emergencies like , hypertensive emergency, diabetes mellitus and it's complications , traumas, road traffic accidents, various diseases of the pediatric age group, neonates, and general diseases like malaria, typhoid, acute abdomen, pancreatitis, renal stones and colic etc.
• Led diverse team of medical and administrative professionals in day-to-day clinic activities such as patient care, new business development, and patient relations.
• Completed patient referrals to other medical specialists.

• I worked here as a medical officer , first in the dengue ward for a few months and then I remained in the ICU/ cath lab for the rest of the period
• I have gained a valuable experience of diagnosing , and managing the MI patients , along with reading all forms of ecgs and commenting on them under the supervision of registered cardiologist, professor dr. hikmatullah jan.
• Interpreted diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Assisted senior physicians and surgeons during assessments, examinations and surgical interventions.
• Improved patient outcomes and delivery of care through improved clinical quality processes.

03 months rotation each as a house officer in the following specialties :

1. GENERAL MEDICINE(ACUTE MEDICAL UNIT)

3. CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY

4. GENERAL SURGERY

I I attended medical, surgical, neurology and cardiothoracic OPD's, emergencies during my one year as a house officer. I learned the complete ward protocol, needed referrals, discharging patients, prescribing home treatment etc. I performed different diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ( ascetic taps, lumber punctures, pleural taps, needle thoracotomy, chest tube insertion, stitching wounds, NG tube and urinary catheter insertion, suction, cpr, accessing iv lines and drawing bloods, taking blood for abg's, etc.). I have a vast experience in history taking, examining the patients , making differential diagnosis, ordering relevant investigations and making a required treatment plan.

I worked in this primary health care center that deals with the management of common and preventable medical problems and refers patients to the tertiary healthcare facilities when needed.

• Documented vital signs and health history for patients in clinic and hospital environments.
• Prepared and administered medications to alleviate patient symptoms.
• Comforted anxious patients before procedures and listened to concerns, offering support, and compassion.
• Promoted office efficiency, coordinating charts, completing insurance forms, and helping patients with diverse needs.
