Qualifications: Working Conditions: Physical Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Experience: Proven experience as an emergency services driver or in a similar role.
  
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of emergency vehicle operated.
  Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
  Certification in emergency driving techniques (EVOC - Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) is highly desirable.
  First aid and CPR certification.
  
• Skills: Excellent driving skills, especially under high-stress conditions.
  Strong understanding of emergency vehicle operation and traffic laws.
  Effective communication skills.
  Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  
• Irregular working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to potentially dangerous situations and varying weather conditions.
• Physical demands such as lifting and moving patients and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including patients, up to.
• Good vision and hearing to operate vehicles safely.
• Physical fitness to perform job duties effectively.
