UNIT SPECIALIZATION:

• PLATFORMER UNIT
• ISOMERIZATION UNIT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safe and optimized refinery operation with overall production control from crude oil intake to finished quality products based on refinery margins.
• Scrutinize performance evaluation of process equipment’s e.g. Distillation Columns, Heat Exchangers, Surface Condensers, Air Coolers, Pumps, Turbines, Furnaces, Compressors, Reactors, Cooling Towers, Degasifier, Deaerator, and Boilers.
• Lead safety campaign and root cause analysis to enhance workforce knowledge and skills to address safety matters.
• Monitor control panels unit’s process performance on a continuous basis using the distributed control system (DCS).
• Examine energy conservation practices and process chemical consumption as to optimize usage of fuels and chemicals.
• Prepare field equipment in allocated work area for maintenance activities, follow up execution and recommission equipment upon satisfactory completion of work.
• Planning and execution of plant shut down/startup, Catalyst loading/offloading & regeneration activities according to schedule.
• Prepare start-up and commissioning procedures for the new modifications and aid in preparing operating manuals and procedures and apply HSE guidelines to existing and new modifications.
• Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFD’s), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s) and Process Data Sheets.
• Participate in process safety audits.

HAZOP STUDY:

• Hazard and operability study of operations equipment.
• Attending meeting concerning hazard analysis of different operation techniques at plant.
• Finding solutions regarding bottlenecks of the process procedures.

PERMIT TO WORK SYSTEM:

• Issuance of permits along with their certificates for carrying out jobs.
• Identifying hazards in the vicinity of job.
• Indicating necessary precautions for the hazards.
• Issuance and confirmation of job completion.
• Hazard and operability study of operations equipment.
• Attending meeting concerning hazard analysis of different operation techniques at plant.
• Finding solutions regarding bottlenecks of the process procedures.

OTHERS:

• Log Book Writing.
• Daily Production Calculation.
• Daily Tool Talk.
• Weekly Activity.
