I was a runner up in this competition. My piece was about a revolutionary scientist in Australia who intended to to make renewable energy accessible in every corner of the world. I worked hard and paid attention to detail while completing the essay. Gained experience in research while compiling information online.

I was able to secure the 8th position at the national 10th grade level. Gained valuable experience of working in a competitive environment alongside my peers.
