Certification for training course on Professional Teaching Knowledge (PKT)

• I was honored to receive a certificate of participation from the Federal Directorate of Education for successfully completing a 10-day training course (24-07-24 to 02-08-24) on Professional Teaching Knowledge P, offered in partnership with the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE).
• I had the opportunity to participate in multiple comprehensive training sessions specifically designed for Chemistry teachers. The primary aim of these training was to explore innovative strategies and teaching methodologies that would help foster a deeper understanding and passion for Chemistry in young minds. Throughout the sessions, I collaborated with fellow educators to learn effective techniques for engaging students, making complex concepts more accessible, and inspiring curiosity about the subject. These experiences allowed me to not only enhance my own teaching skills but also contribute to the broader goal of nurturing a love for science and encouraging future generations to explore the fascinating world of Chemistry.
• I have been part of the "Each One Teach One" (EOTO) initiative, since June 2024, a national literacy drive in Pakistan, aims to eradicate illiteracy and empower citizens by engaging students from schools, colleges, and universities as literacy teachers, under the aegis of the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD).
• I was honored to be nominated as the focal person for implementing the "Environment for Living" curriculum at my school. In this capacity, I had the privilege of attending a comprehensive four-day training workshop organized by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad, in collaboration with the Rupani Foundation.
• I got the privilege to foster digital safety in my students by attending "Digital Safar - Empowering Young Minds for a Safer Digital Future" workshop, organized by Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad, I gained valuable insights into the importance of digital safety in today's interconnected world. The workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of the risks associated with the online space, such as cyberbullying, privacy issues, and online scams. What stood out the most was the focus on empowering young minds by not only raising awareness but also providing practical tools to navigate the digital world responsibly and safely.
• I have been serving as PBL (Project Based Learning) Coordinator since 2016. Acting as a bridge between teachers, students, and the larger community, facilitating learning experiences that are dynamic, hands-on, and engaging. This role enhances my leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for student-centered education.
• I had the distinct privilege of serving as a jury member for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) competition in 2022. This role gave me the opportunity to evaluate and witness firsthand the innovative ideas and solutions presented by bright young minds in the field of STEM. As a jury member, I was tasked with assessing projects that spanned various aspects of science and technology, from cutting-edge engineering designs to groundbreaking research. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to engage with these talented individuals, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the recognition of outstanding achievements in the STEM community.
• As the Master Trainer, I played a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive training to both newly recruited and experienced teachers, ensuring they remained up-to-date with the latest educational practices and methodologies. This training was a key component of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, which was designed to foster ongoing growth and improvement in teaching quality. My responsibilities included creating and facilitating interactive sessions, providing in-depth guidance on effective teaching strategies, and supporting teachers in integrating new skills into their classrooms. I conducted these training sessions under the supervision of UNICEF, aligning with their standards and goals for improving education. The ultimate aim was to empower educators with the knowledge and tools they needed to enhance their teaching, positively impacting student learning outcomes.
