Over 23 years of my teaching experience, I have become an articulate communicator, able to effectively interact with a diverse population at various academic levels. I always tend to maintain excellent relations with students, parents, faculty, and administrators. I am self-motivated with strong administrational, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills. I am a team player with the ability to work against tight deadlines under pressure.

Instructional Coach and Academic Librarian-IB

  • Collaborate with the school leadership team to identify training needs.
  • Support teachers through preferably formal Professional Development (PD) and informal PD in light of the school’s PD Plan.
  • Collaborate with another Instructional Coach (IC) for mandatory PD courses.
  • Model lesson/training simulations and record, to help build a repository of PD training material.
  • Mentoring at least two new induced teachers on CAIE PDQs e.g. CTL, CEdI, CTDT, DTL, DEdL and DTDT.
  • Coach teachers on identified aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Observe and give feedback to the teachers.
  • Receive and cascade formal training with another IC in the cluster.
  • Collaborative investigation with teachers and students.
  • Enhance creative, critical and analytical skills taught across the curriculum.
