- AI Forest Watch : Utilising techniques of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, built a forest monitoring system. The system provides aid in segmentation of forest and non forest boundaries, provided a satellite image that is collected from multiple regions of Pakistan. Furthermore, the framework facilitates in detection of changes in those regions of forest, ultimately supporting plans for plantation drives.
- Urdu Handwriting Recognition: Introduced "Conv-Transformer" as a novel Deep Learning based architecture. Designed and developed an Urdu OCR system which recognized and digitized scanned handwritten as well as printed Urdu text images, efficiently and effectively. Moreover, the architecture was applied and tested for English Language yielding successful results.
- Table Detection and Recognition : Executed table detection and segmentation techniques to digitize tabular data present in scanned document images.
- Prepared materials for reports, presentations and submission to peer-reviewed journal publications.
- Collected research data through experimentation, surveys and leading focus groups.
- Worked both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced laboratory environment.
