At Shelley Roberts Architects, I have successfully managed the project process, from schematic design to contract documentation. I worked directly with the director on each phase of the project cycle. I was responsible for preparing the town planning and construction documentation drawings set. Update and document technical tender packages for various projects. Manage FF&E design development and documentation. Communicate with authorities, consultants, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers as per the requirements of the project and respond to RFI’s. I gain a strong capacity to work quickly and meticulously through my role, enabling me to provide buildability in documentation, fulfil deadlines, and deal with all challenges with great aplomb.

I have been involved in key aspects of documentation for various projects of different scales and budgets, including residential alterations and additions and commercial interior projects. During my tenure at FRED Architecture, I have prepared: presentations of conceptual designs; town planning permit applications; design development drawings; contract documentation/drawings for construction, and schedules. I have built upon my structural knowledge over time. I was able to assist with contract administration services by preparing payment schedules and certificates for the ABIC building contracts.

For the construction of the Footscray Elevated Roadway on the west gate tunnel project, Freyssinet is a partner in a joint venture with CPBJH. During my stay at Freyssinet, I was responsible for producing drawings from written and verbal specifications obtained from the project engineer. Maintain all revisions of drawings in AutoCAD and develop 3D models in Sketchup by analysing prototypes and CAD drawings.

My own firm, “Lineation Design Studio” which was established in 2013 with a team of professionals for the design and execution of residential and commercial projects of various scales. Establish networks and build relationships with potential clients, and successfully manage to secure a substantial amount of residential and mixed commercial work through successful design proposals. Manage key account clients on multiple projects from feasibility studies and schematic design to contract documentation and administration until project handover. Liaise with relevant councils and authorities to make sure the design is compliant with the prevailing local planning and building by-laws. Prepare technical drawing packages and documents for various projects for tender purposes.

As a project manager, I collaborate with the construction arm to ensure that every work package is finished in accordance with the specified parameters. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, in line with the design, and by meeting all applicable building standards. Completed onsite inspections, including project sign-off, and managed the office’s finances, accounts, and human resources.

Developed a comprehensive understanding of preparing design concepts and schemes for mid-level residential and civic projects and updating and documenting technical tender packages. Prepare and update drawings for publications. Coordinate and resolve MEP and structural matters with fellow consultants. Communicate with the concerned authorities to obtain building approvals/permits, prepare cost estimations for projects, and overlook the project administration and material procurement. Prepare reports of the site’s progress and present them to the stakeholders during the meetings.

At Amar Construction, my role was to assist internal team members in developing design concepts, digital models, and presentations for small and mid-level residential units.
