As a risk & product manager for the easypaisa risk function, I have designed the solution for the risk function to implement and integrate Alipay’s risk system into the easypaisa APP.
This system enables risk function: To reduce social engineering fraud by 98% from 200 daily average fraud complaints to under 10 daily complaints and enhance customer trust in Easypaisa APP
Identified the revenue leakage of 3.2 million PKR and mitigate the loss to zero amount Detection & shutting down of clone & virtual environment for easypaisa APP that was causing the creation of fake accounts that save easypaisa from the potential fine from the regulator
Redesigned the APP onboarding journey has improved the acquisition of new customers by 10%
Secured customer data by identifying the loopholes & building controls in the database
Implementation of internal control on easypaisa channels to claw back undue commission of 6.8 million PKR due to campaign/MA abuse in the retail channel
Highlighted key risk to Bank’s leadership team (LT), by maintaining risk register for branchless banking that assist LT to keep in create solution & track to mitigation status of all solution associated with branchless activities
Implementation of RCSA in easypaisa operations to identify & record key risk indicator (KRIs) that has ensured appropriate controls are in place to mitigate those risks and to quantify the level of residual risk once all necessary controls are in place
