Automatic Feed Management System Deployment

Feed systems are one of the most critical parts of any dairy farm, especially for many animals. For the first time in Pakistan, a sophisticated Automatic IoT-based Feed System was planned and successfully deployed, which enabled Herd, Finance, SCM teams to track efficient feed ration effects on the improvement of cows, their health, and milk production. And costing, inventory controls, and several benefits.

Oct 2014 – Jan 2015

It was challenging to integrate two different software and hardware platforms with many restrictions from both vendors. In this project, Automatic milking data from AMS was successfully integrated with Dairy Management System Dairy Comp 305, enabling teams to get combined and robust data on a single platform.

May 2013 – Sep 2014

This project comprised an Automatic Milking System (AMS) equipped with Electronic Identification (EID), micro controllers, and neuron network and software programs. AMS enabled teams to capture simultaneous data milking data and udder health, mastitis tracking, and verity of parameters. EID was challenging to deploy in the cause of metal structures and industrial noise, optimization of EID done after more extended workings, assessment and exploration, and new ways explored and communicated with the vendor for efficient EID system leading to accurate data recording.

Jan 2012 – Dec 2012

This project carries sophisticated weather technologies, including weather stations and sensors. This project aimed to study weather impacts and links with cows' health, cows behavior, heat stress. Plan farm facilities based on weather data and arrangement of appropriate cooling systems.

Jan 2009 – Aug 2011

Project descriptionThis project included exploration and planning of livestock and dairy business data, effective data deployment on different software programs including on of well known Dairy Management Software Dairy Comp 305.

Oct 2009 – Apr 2010

RFID Animal traceability project aimed to enable cows' tractability by RFID wireless identification system. The traceability project was completed by applying RFID to more than 1500 cows and heifers initially.
