Worked for the large research and strategic organization on different projects. Responsible for the development of different furnaces like Hydrogen Furnace, Vacuum Furnace used for different purposes. The maintenance of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Coating Machine along with Universal Testing Machine (UTM 100kN). Started from the planning to the design phases through to the project closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managed the full project lifecycle including definition of scope, planning, execution, monitoring & control and project completion. Delivery of financial performances within the approved budgets.
- Ensured all expectations were clearly defined and measurable success points were identified
- All the contract terms with stakeholders were met within project delivery time.
- Managed up to 5 different projects related to autonomous furnaces development of temperatures between 0 – 1800C with budgets ranging from $20,000 to $350,000.
- Designed a financial plan for expected revenue, cash flow stream, profit and loss calculations which provided optimal value for money.
- Established a team of 5 technical professionals to manage the projects operations. Performance management of all service providers was monitored and improved using Performance management Metrics.
- Risk management and mitigation
- Project Quality was ensured to meet all standards using Quality Management System.
- Led the program by working closely with business stakeholders and cross functional project teams.
- Targets achievement were done by the team in a well timely manner where accountability was done on bi-weekly basis.
- Provided regular project updates to the stakeholders including section in-charge & directors.
- Drills and exercises for safety, health and environment protection were conducted on regular basis.
- Safe and sustainable delivery of projects, operations and their maintenance was ensured.
