- Manage the oil and gas project portfolio, overseeing planning, execution, and performance to ensure alignment with strategic goals and compliance
- Prioritize projects based on resources, risks, and returns while coordinating with teams and communicating progress to stakeholders
- Prepare the department's Long-Term Plan (LTP) and collaborate with stakeholders to secure CAPEX approval
- Responsible to carry out the EPC Projects along with the financial closeout
- Adhere to and implement Project Management Procedures, including the sequential project stages of Appraise, Select, Define, Execute, and Operate
- Prepare and takes management endorsement on the Approval for Expenditure (AFE) according to the assigned DOFA
- Understand the departmental and organizational KPIs and align the personal KPI with the organizational goals
- Prepare and float bid packages with RFQ through procurement team
- Conduct Pre-bid meeting, Review and evaluate the techno-commercial bids
- Effectively negotiate with contractors to streamline project timelines and ensure pricing are aligned with benchmarks or with in planned budget
- Review BOMs, identify short material alternatives from redundant, slow moving and surplus inventories to minimize the procurement cost and time
- Manage procurement of material, and facilitate the delivery of materials, and equipment to ensure efficient construction site operations
- Initiate Engineering of the project, participate and provide feedback in EDR (Engineering Design Review) and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability study)

- Follow up Engineering deliverables as per the approved targets

- Coordinates and finalize the scope of work and conceptual of the projects by taking consent from the stakeholders both OPEX and CAPEX Projects
- Negotiate and obtain approvals from landowners and government authorities, ensuring regulatory compliance before commencing construction
- Share project performance reports including status of design, procurement, construction, CPI and SPI, payments with higher management
- Ensure the Project Close out is signed off with all stakeholders, along with the financial closure
- Support team to carry out the economics of the project through calculating of IRR (Internal Rate of Return) and NPV (Net Present Value)
- Prepare and take required approval of Project's cost, schedule, project management plan from UEP and Joint venture partners
- Prepare and control project costs by monitoring actual, committed, and forecasted expenditures
- Use CPM and PERT to identify the project's critical path, estimate mean duration and variances, and calculate Z-score to estimate completion timeline
- Carryout Fast tracking and Crashing techniques to optimize the project timeline
- Utilized Earned value management to calculate the schedule, cost variances
- Analyze, initiate, process, and monitor the change management process within projects
- Perform Time Impact Analysis to reassess schedules and costs, evaluate the potential risk of budget and timeline deviations
- Determine the further course of actions to mitigate the risk at minimum level
- Lead and manage the Project and Construction Management team, including Site Manager, Planning Engineer, Project and construction Engineers, and supervisors of third-party consultants, and contractors
- Lead project kick-off meetings with construction team and visit construction sites
- Also resolve constructional / contractual issues, including changes to the 'Scope of Work' in a manner that there is minimum disruption in the construction work
- Review daily, weekly and monthly reports on project's progress

- Collaborate closely with contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that construction works at Site are being conducted in a safe manner, along with a good coordination among the teams following the timeline, control costs and maintain compliance with quality standards
- As a contract sponsor, carryout contractor's 4-P (People, Plant, Process and Performance) Audits to ensure the HSE compliance of contractors
- Ensure UEP HSE policy, national & international applicable codes, standards, and procedures are strictly adhered to during project life cycle
- Lead and manage mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, Pre startup safety Review (PSSR), Commissioning and Project Handover to Operations

- Moreover, also carried out the execution works in the brownfield of Qatar Gas Processing Facility along with the experience of planning and the execution of shutdowns

- Project Cost: 75 million USD, Manhours 5.6 million, Steel Structure 7600 Ton, Equipment 7500 Ton, Piping: 750,000 Dia inches
- Being Piping in-charge, successfully accomplished the piping fabrication targets
- The piping includes the SS, Duplex, CS and Jacketed Piping
- The overall achieved Dia inches were ~ 50,000
- Timely completion of compressor unit in the brownfield of Qatar Energy Facility
