  • My job description was to help planning, coordinate, and monitor all production activities to ensure timely delivery of pc cvc cotton yarns to clients.
  • Was responsible for costing and planning with maintaining profit margins.
  • Negotiating with international and national buyers and freight forwarders for competitive rates and favorable terms.
  • Day to day activity was to coordinate with direct customers, agents and government bodies (Customs, FBR,) to facilitate smooth shipments.
  • Later the day I was also managing the ERP system for electronic record keeping and to generate reports in different formats to help decision making.
  • Coordinate with Technical Directors at Mill units to monitor shipment schedules and track consignments to avoid delays and to improve product quality.
  • Horizon of my work expands to prepare and review production plans for the week or month depending upon order size.
  • We as a team always kept ourselves very disciplined with advancement in market to compete with our competitors.
  • Daily production and sales report of current orders was also shared with company directors.
  • I coordinate with banks to handle insurance claims related to damaged or lost shipments.
  • In case of damage, we send debit note which is mostly covered by insurance companies.
  • To help smooth Audit process of company it was necessary to maintain accurate records of all production, raw material consumed and prepare regular reports for management and it always was updated and satisfied the watchdogs.
  • On daily basis had a meeting with finance department for payments, over-dues and credit limits.
