  • At XFlow Research, I am working on a high-throughput C++ network sniffer and deep packet inspection (DPI) engine to intercept and parse 2G/3G signaling and media traffic in real time for access control and security enforcement. Wrote low-latency protocol parsers for SS7, SCCP, BSSAP (2G A-interface), and RANAP (3G Iu-CS) over ASN.1 PER/BER structures to decode Layer 3 Call Control and Supplementary Services messages. Built a stateful session tracking engine to extract subscriber identifiers (IMSI, IMEI) for whitelist/blacklist access enforcement while correlating signaling flows with active RTP media streams across complex call scenarios—including SRVCC handovers, Call Hold and Retrieve, Multi-Party Conference Calls, and Call Forwarding redirections. Used Wireshark to inspect signaling traffic, debug protocol errors, and troubleshoot call routing failures.
