  • This is the most amazing and challenging experience for me because it made me able to manage more than 30 patients in this complex and busy clinical setting as a team where we are learning from senior residents and helping our junior residents to make our approach towards the patients beneficial

  • Respecting a patient's autonomy and how to avoid injustice was also an essential part of my learning

  • As my first step in the clinical setting, it was the most challenging experience for me
  • I learned how to be effectively and empathically involved in the treatment and management of respiratory compromised patients in our setup where patients were unable to afford the different respiratory assisting devices specially oxygen cylinders for long term oxygen therapy and Bi PAP and C PAP
  • I volunteered for help in the arrangement of these devices via different charity organizations in Peshawar, Pakistan
  • Counselling the family members of these compromised patients who were experiencing the trauma of seeing their loved ones in distress was also an essential part of my learning
  • Overall a very good experience
  • Supporting patients in the arrangements of necessary equipment and making their life easier and without discomforts was the best part of this experience
  • Also helping patients with contagious diseases who had this feeling of loneliness made me feel great
