In my role, I significantly enhanced a client's advertising efficiency by meticulously refining their budget allocation to achieve optimal results Initially, the client faced a critical challenge: despite a substantial ad spend, they failed to generate any leads in the form of phone calls/form submissions.

This prompted a comprehensive audit of their Google Ads account, revealing several key issues:

  • The use of irrelevant keywords was diverting potential customers.
  • The ad groups lacked coherent structure, diminishing their effectiveness.
  • The landing pages were not adequately optimized to convert visitors.
  • There was no conversion tracking in place, making it impossible to measure success.
  • Audience targeting was imprecise, failing to reach the intended demographics.
  • Geographical targeting did not align with the client's service areas.
  • The ad copy was not engaging enough to prompt action from potential customers.
  • The traffic attracted to the site was of low quality, contributing little to the desired outcomes.
  • Negative keywords were not excluded.

Addressing these challenges, I implemented a strategic overhaul of the client's Google Ads campaigns:

  • Reorganized ad groups to ensure a clear, thematic structure.
  • Enhanced the landing pages for improved user experience and conversion rates.
