Summary

I am a highly self-motivated and intellectually capable applied linguistics scholar with expertise in multiple subjects surrounding corpus linguistics, English language, English for academic purposes, and English as a second/foreign language, critical discourse analysis, language testing and evaluation, and so on. I worked at a national institute and have more than 10 years of teaching and research experience in Pakistan where I engaged in research/teaching of English language, innovation through technology (corpus tools) in language research/teaching, educational assessment and evaluation, English for academic purposes, gender discrimination through language teaching materials, media discourse, and academic writing related issues. An avid teacher, and researcher of language and linguistics I am currently working on the research related to the academic writing produced by the student writers employing corpus linguistics methodology with significant potential for a multidisciplinary audience.
