• Directed the successful delivery of large-scale electrical infrastructure including 500kV and 220kV grid interface systems, substations, and transmission circuits, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and regulatory frameworks.

• Finalized technical annexures, work scopes, and Design Input Parameters Lists (DIPL) for grid systems, ensuring all interfacing equipment (GIS/AIS, CTs, PTs, CVTs, reactors) met international specifications.
• Oversaw engineering studies, including load flow, transient stability, and short-circuit simulations, verifying transmission reliability under multiple contingency scenarios.
• Represented the technical directorate during international audits and regulatory reviews; liaised with key stakeholders including NEPRA, NTDC, PNRA, and K-Electric to secure approvals and mitigate grid connection risks.
• Led project planning coordination with internal/external stakeholders, including contributions to Pakistan’s long-term IGCEP energy roadmap.
• Conducted Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) in China for main generator systems and GCBs (Shanghai Electric).
• Actively involved in site inspections to validate project execution against design deliverables and regulatory standards

Chashma & Karachi Nuclear Projects (350–1100MWe) | 2006 – 2018

• Oversaw and witnessed installation, commissioning and testing of electrical systems of multiple nuclear power stations (350MWe & HPR1000) as per applicable Codes & standards and specifications.
• Witnessed (QA/QC) on-site and factory inspections for MV/EHV equipment, including transformer systems, GIS switchgear, relay panels, UPS/DC systems and Main generator, 1E cables.
• Reviewed and enforced equipment compliance with IEC/IEEE/GB/RCC-E standards; developed site-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Participated as resident engineer in CI side design office of HPR 1000 reactor (ECEPDI, Shanghai) for design review of 132kV/220kV/500kV substations and interconnection.
• Developed (partially) and implemented project-specific Quality Management Systems aligned with international nuclear regulatory requirements ISO 9001:2015.
• Traveled to China for witnessing factory acceptance tests and quality inspections of relay panels, programmable modules, 6kV CB cabinets, Class 1E cables, main generator.
