Technical Projects

Thermal Hydraulic Auto-maintenance Unit:

The project combined thermal hydraulics with digital logic, demonstrating a seamless integration of hardware description language (HDL) for advanced control and automation in thermal management systems.

Obstacle Avoider Game using C++:

The project involved designing a graphical environment where a player-controlled object navigates through a dynamic field filled with obstacles.

Utilize object-oriented programming principles in C++ to define the game entities.

Cardless entry in NUST using ATMega16A:

Created a secure and convenient access control system for NUST using ATMega16A. Replaced traditional cards with biometrics or PINs for entry.

Utilize the microcontroller to manage electronic locks and implement real-time user verification.

Health monitoring system using arduino:

Developed a Health Monitoring System using Arduino to track and analyze vital health parameters. Utilized sensors such as heart rate monitors, temperature sensors, and accelerometers to gather real-time data. The Arduino microcontroller processed the information and displayed it on an interface, providing insights into the user's health.

Voltage Stabilizer Simulation on Proteus:

The project aims to showcase the effectiveness of the simulated voltage stabilizer in providing a steady output voltage despite fluctuations in the input. This simulation project not only demonstrates proficiency in Proteus software but also explores the practical application of voltage stabilization in electronic systems.

Audio Splicing on MATLab:

Create a MATLAB project for seamless audio splicing, allowing users to concatenate or splice audio files. Implement features for selecting time intervals, merging files, and applying fade-in/out effects. The project demonstrates proficiency in digital signal processing, providing a user-friendly tool for effortless audio editing.

Implementing the propagation of RF signal through Rayleigh Channel on MATLab:

Implement modulation schemes, such as Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), and simulate the transmission and reception of RF signals through the Rayleigh channel. Analyze the impact of fading on signal quality, considering parameters like signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and bit error rate (BER).

Audio Equilizer:

Create a user-friendly Digital Audio Equalizer in MATLAB for real-time manipulation of audio signals. Utilize MATLAB's signal processing toolbox to design and implement filters, allowing users to customize the frequency response. This project showcases proficiency in digital signal processing and provides a practical tool for interactive audio equalization.

Real-time Object Detector using OpenCV and Python:

This project utilizes background modeling, motion detection, and Lucas-Kanade optical flow for robust object tracking. The system identifies and highlights foreign objects in a video stream, displaying real-time alerts and capturing frames upon continuous motion.

CIFAR-100- Training from scratch:

Trained a deep neural network to classify CIFAR-100 images without pre-trained models. Implement a CNN, explore hyperparameters, and optimize for optimal performance. Utilize TensorFlow/PyTorch, visualize metrics for insights. Demonstrates proficiency in deep learning and image classification.

Accomplishments

Currently going on final year project is based on Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) empowerment for a resource constrained secondary device (RCSD) using CR-
NOMA for efficient data transmission along with energy
harvested from PDs. DRL-based algorithm optimizes
RCSDs' resource allocation, enhancing MEC efficiency
    and addressing energy constraints.
