  • Led Maintenance Management at 960 MTPD Ammonia Plant (KBR), 300 MTPD Urea (Saipem), Utilities (KBR), 1500 MTPD HNO3 Plant (TKIS) and 1500 MTPD CAN Plant (TKIS)
  • Managing all kind of technical issues during day to day activities as well as in Projects and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with specifications, statutory requirements, laws, rules, regulations and other contractual requirements with due regards to safety, operability and maintainability
  • Job Responsibilities: Management of area team comprising of Engineers, Sub Engineer, Supervisors, Technicians and Servicemen with regard to effective utilization, training and appraisals
  • Annual Turnaround planning including bar charts, Material & Resource management
  • Preparation of Yearly Procurement Plan including correspondence with OEM/vendor; Execution of cost cutting measures through in-house initiatives and re-building
  • Planning the yearly budget based on the Preventive Plan, Spare Consumption Pattern and Reliability Improvement Plan (Consumption Budget, Revenue Budget and CAPEX)
  • Arrangement & participation in HSE related meetings (“D-level”/HORC/DSC/Sub-SOC) as per SOPs and ensure that action plans are implemented as defined
  • Development of maintenance procedures and work instructions in accordance with PSI, OEM instructions and related Codes & standards
  • Responsible for carrying out RCA for safety incidents and reliability incidents in my area
  • Preparation of 5 years reliability improvement plans & plan implementation for following years
  • Internal Auditor of IMS (Integrated Management Systems), TR (Temporary Repairs) and MI (Mechanical Integrity) Internal Auditor PSM (Process Safety Management), last internal audit conducted in December 2013/15/16/19 and 2021

  • Led the team for managing Gas Pipeline laying (25 KM) along with associated facilities

  • Overhauling of Primary Waste Heat Boiler at Ammonia Plant (101 – C) Carried out the project as the Lead Execution Engineer
  • Primary Waste Heat Boiler (101-C) is the main source for producing steam (HS-100 kg/cm2)
  • It is a special vertical Bayonet tube design boiler based on latent heat principle
  • Its pressure shell is surrounded by water jacket and has SS-310 and SS-321 inner shell (6 no
  • Shrouds)
  • Between shrouds & pressure shell, there is a 6 inch thick refractory layer (Green cast 94L) supported by metallic cones
  • All the six shrouds of this boiler were replaced during Annual Turnaround January-2012
  • Participated in project as Area Maintenance Engineer for all activities including dismantling, rigging of tube bundle, development of customized tools, development of shrouds replacement plan & fitting
  • Construction of Liquid Ammonia Storage Tank Double Wall (Double Integrity) Carried out the project as the Lead Construction Engineer
