Responsible for providing in and out-patient department services to all cardiac patients with respiratory illnesses , pre-op pulmonary assessment of patients admitted for cardiac procedures and surgeries

interpreting spirometry and performing procedures i.e thoracocentesis,tube thoracostomy and fibroptic bronchoscopy when indicated.

• To attend the patients of TB and other chest diseases
• To diagnose and prescribe medicines according to NTP guidelines
• Perform different procedures related to Chest diseases (Bronchoscopy, Chest tube insertion, Biopsy etc)
• Diagnose and coordinate with PMDT site for registration and treatment of MDR cases
• Emergency, Inpatient and Outpatient care of patients with TB and Respiratory diseases
• Coordinate with TB Dot program for timely registration, treatment and follow up of TB patients
• Attend different Seminars, workshops, awareness programs and walks for TB control
• Have conducted medical examination of TB and MDR patients on their follow up
• Counseling and Psychological support to TB patient and their family members

• Supervise and Monitor District Field Supervisors (DFSs) in 5 different districts of Balochistan
• Trainings Health Care Practitioners and their paramedics on TB according to NTP guidelines
• Coordinate and Communicate with district TB coordinators and PTP
• Supervise and control the dispensing of the TB drugs
• Assuring enough supply of medicines and other medical equipment
• Mapping of Health care Providers and Laboratories for diagnosis and treatment of TB patients
• Monitoring and Reporting monthly awareness activities and establishment of Camps in different areas of Balochistan
• Administrative monitoring procedures, identification, and management of medical supply stock and TB case records
• Communication with local health actors
• Psychological support and awareness for patients
