Completed 15 Months of Clinical rotation in General Surgery as a part of my training at Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi

During my training in General Surgery I have worked at following stations

• Trauma and Emergency

I have managed trauma patients like RTAs, Fire arm injuries,Burns etc.

I have managed cases with Intestinal perforation,Intestinal Obstruction ,Cholecystitis etc

Performed Emergency operations like Appendectomies,Duodenal perforation Repairs etc .

• Ward

I have performed duties in ward like ward rounds, preparing Pre-op patients and managed post-op patients.

• OPD

I have attended a variety of patients in OPD like Umbilical Hernias,Inguinal hernias, Femoral hernias,sebaceous cysts,Dermoid cysts,Goiter etc

Worked at Bakht Heart Clinic which is the state of the art for Cardiac Care Unit with intake of all sort of Cardiac cases.

I have interpreted ECGs, Chest Xrays and managed OPD and Emergency cases.

Participated in procedures like Ambulatory BP Monitoring, IV Cannulation, Arterial and Venous Blood sampling, Passage of Nasogastric tube, Foley's Catheterization,Diagnostic & Therapeutic Pleural Tap and Central venous catheterization

I have also worked in Coronary Care Unit under supervision managing patients with Myocardial Infarction and its complications. Assisting and conducting life saving procedures such as CPR, ETT Intubation, CPAP, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Pericardicentesis, DC Cardioversion at various intensities & Thrombolysis in patients with Acute Infarction.

I have done 3 Months of Internship in General Medicine from 01-02-2020 to 30-04-2020 at following stations

I have performed duties in Coronary Care Unit from 01-11-2019 TO 31-01-2020 where i have managed patients with Cardiac issues.

I have performed duties in Otolaryngology Department from 01-08-2019 to 31-10-2019 at following stations

Performed Tracheostomies, Removed foreign bodies under supervision

Prepared Pre-OP and managed Post-OP patients
