• Help to develop and improve corporate PCB design best practices
• Close work with the design team on component layout and PCB design optimization
• Manage CAD tool licensing and user licenses
• Provide complete PCB manufacturing data package to vendors including board panelization
• PCB routing of high speed components such as SOC, high speed DDR, Nand flash
• Research and suggest tools for improving quality and efficiency of PCB design
• Coordinate and conduct design reviews with a cross-functional team to review the PCB layout design
• Define and document optimized workflows for use of ECAD tools in development and production environments
• Assist engineers in development of testing techniques and laboratory equipment
• Manages the releases of gerber data & BOM's to prototype and production PCB board manufactures using HARMAN's configuration management & PLM systems
• Assist engineers and PCB designers on tool usage and performing training
• Provides training and mentorship on PCB layout techniques to junior PCB designers and hardware product design engineers
• Perform detailed error checks, post processing, Gerber files, etc. to facilitate successful board manufacturing
• Generate and manage templates to be used by engineering for new and existing ECAD designs
