  • Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements to avoid future claims against short payment of PESSI, EOBI, and Education Cess.
  • Responsible to coordinate with all labor departments to address any labor issue highlighted by the any Labor Department i.e. EOBI, PESSI & WW Board & Labor Department etc.
  • Closely coordinate with legal adviser to address all legal issues or any notices received from any Labor Department
  • Facilitate workers in processing their claims / benefits from Insurance /EOBI / PESSI, Welfare board and Labor Department.
  • Responsible to manage day to day labor issues and coordinate with CBA for amicable solution and take necessary action for maintain peaceful labor relations and to create harmony in working environment
  • Conduct 3rd Party contractors’ labor compliance audit and devise plan for implementation of observations and non-compliances
  • Responsible to ensure compliance of all steps of Recruitment & selection of new hiring of workers i.e. Police Verification, Education Certificates verification, Post Employment medical test, etc.
  • Develop good relations with difference technical institutions and arrange potential candidates for vacant positions
  • Responsible for the timely payment of monthly contribution of PESSI, Edu Cess & EOBI of 3rd Party contractors.

Health, Safety and Environment

  • Supervise periodic health, safety and environmental audits of the site and ensure necessary measures including worker’s trainings to ensure safe and healthy work environment in accordance with HSE standards.
  • Monitor and control proper working/ functionality of HVAC to ensure clean air and desired temperature at work place.
  • Ensure corrective and preventive measures when required.
