Summary

I am an agriculture graduate, foreign qualified development professional and certified DRM practitioner having twelve (12) years working experience in different National and International organizations. Presently working in an International Development Organization i.e. Welthungerhilfe as Livelihood Coordinator and managing the on-farm (Agriculture) and off-farm livelihood component in multiple programs of DFID, EU and BMZ. I also have experience of managing multi-donor projects at the same time.

Livelihood Coordinator

  • While working as livelihood coordinator, I am/was engaged in following projects/programs
  • A) Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) component of Building Disaster Resilience in Pakistan (BDRP) programme (PAK-1084 & PAK-1094, DFID funded and Concern Worldwide executed project)
  • I have worked as Livelihood (on-farm and off-farm) component focal person for WHH in 2 districts in Punjab. I was responsible for designing, implementation and reporting of livelihood component interventions. I have also additionally worked as focal person for CBDRM component for half of the duration of the project. This DFID funded project was completed with A+ success indicators on DFID project evaluation portal.
  • I remained technical lead for FSL sector from WHH side in consortium of international organizations led by Concern Worldwide and participated and provided regular inputs in FSL technical working groups of CAWI consortium.
  • Supported the project leader/program manager WHH in successfully planning, implementation and reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual plans and deliverables in payment by results (PBR) managed programme.
  • Supported the program manager and finance team in quarterly and annual budget forecasting and ensuring compliances.
  • I remained technical lead for FSL sector to support the project implementation partners for designing, planning and successful implementation of project deliverables.
  • I have represented the WHH in consortium meetings and meetings with stakeholders at district and provincial level.
  • B) Strengthening food and nutrition security and WASH Services services to mitigate negative impacts of COVID-19 pandemic for particularly vulnerable people in selected countries of Welthungerhilfe (PAK-1110, BMZ funded project)
  • I have worked as focal person for implementation of PAK-1110 project in District Layyah, Punjab and was responsible for planning, implementation through local partner and reporting of project. I have successfully completed the project within stipulated time with local partner.
  • I have also worked as focal person and lead for FNS technical working groups of project for all four project locations in KP, Punjab and Sindh province.
  • C) Improved resilience through food & nutrition security (LANN+ approach) in Muzaffargarh, Pakistan (PAK-1102, BMZ funded project)
  • This project is currently at planning stage and I have successfully organized the planning workshop for project with local partners.
  • I remained involved in this project since its need assessment, feasibility study and proposal development stage.
  • I remained involved in different new concepts notes and proposal development and day to day support to program manager.

  • Project: Socio-economic development of 60,000 (approx.) poor people in Dist. Layyah (DFID funded project)
  • As program officer, I was responsible for overall planning, implementation, reporting and management of project and have successfully completed the project and practiced the project closeout. After the project closure, DFID specifically provided the appreciation letter for successful completion of the project.
  • I have played my key role in project closeout and inputs for reporting of the project and based on successful project report the donor appreciated the project. I was also focal person from Concern Worldwide side to orient and facilitate the external evaluators for project evaluation.

  • I was managing Punjab Saaf Pani Project (PSPP) project Package 06 funded by Punjab Saaf Pani Company in five districts in Punjab (Multan, Khanewal, Jhang, Vehari and Pakpattan) and responsible for overall implementation of project in all five districts and liaison with district government authorities in targeted districts.
