As the Team Leader in the Mechanical section of the Maintenance department at the Badin-Khaskhali Facility, I was responsible for leading the mechanical team and ensuring the effective execution of maintenance plans for the Natural Gas processing Plants, wellheads, and oil facilities. As a Team Leader in the Mechanical section of the Maintenance department at Kadanwari-Miano Gas Field, I was the responsible for Leading the Mechanical Maintenance team and ensuring to implement Maintenance plans of the 250MMscfd Natural Gas processing Plants designed on membrane technology for CO2 removal. I conduct failure investigations, manage spare parts, and handle budgeting. Additionally, I am considered a domain expert in SAP/Maximo (CMMS).
PPL is pioneer of the natural gas industry in the country, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has been a key player in the energy sector since the 1950s. PPL is contributing about 25 percent of the country’s total natural gas supplies in addition to crude oil, Natural Gas Liquid and Liquefied Petroleum Gas.
PPL LPG/NGL Recover Plant, Adhi Gas Field production was 50MMscfd of natural gas, 160 tons/day LPG, 4000 Barrels per day NGL and 2000 Barrels per day crude oil. The LPG/NGL is being recovered by cryogenic process using Turbo expander and Mechanical refrigeration system. The plant is being monitored and controlled by latest DCS DELTA V system.
I Led mechanical team and my responsibilities were smooth running of Natural Gas processing Plants, perform root cause analysis, Planning and scheduling, spares management, Budgeting, suggesting and execution of Design modification, planning & scheduling of Plant annual turnaround and developing maintenance program in CMMS (SAP) and training the maintenance staff.
Worked in Maintenance (Rotary) department at Sui field gas purification plant. Sui purification plant is one of the biggest plant of gas purification in Pakistan having Amine sweetening and Glycol dehydration plant with processing capacity of 1000MMscfd. In addition, plant is facilitated with steam generators, Water demineralization and water softening units. For monitoring and control of plant both DCS and PLC are being used.
Worked in Maintenance (Mechanical) department in Sui field gas compressor station (State of art & largest gas compressor station in Pakistan) having Seven, frame III, 10MW heavy duty industrial Gas Turbines made by AEG KANIS (GE) of Germany, Seven high pressure centrifugal Compressors (06MV 4A) made by MANNESMANN DEMAG of Germany and four gas turbine driven power generators.
