• Rapid assessment and first aid provision for patients presenting in CCU.
• History taking, examination and requesting relevant investigations to diagnose and accordingly manage cardiac emergencies.
• Initial management of varying presentations in CCU which include thrombolysis of STEMI patients, and management of ischemic heart disease, acute pulmonary edema and cardiogenic shock.
• Daily ward rounds, independent as well as with consultants.
• Updated investigations of patients in the ward as needed and managing
  accordingly.

  examination results.
• Admitted and treated patients as part of hospital's 24-hour on-call services.
• Had discussions with patients and their families regarding their respective conditions and treatment plans. Also had discussions regarding possible deterioration, DNACPR and other related issues.
• Performed NG tube insertion, urinary catheter insertion, IV cannulation, blood transfusions and routine blood samples and ABGs.

• Profound knowledge of critical care, emergency medicine and trauma management. Dealing with various medical and surgical emergencies (ischemic heart disease, stroke, asthma, COPD, diabetic ketoacidosis, hematemesis, traumas, appendicitis, abdominal obstruction etc)
• Operational knowledge of using EMR and Microsoft Office Software.
• Skilled in documenting details of patients presenting in the emergency department.
• Identifying the need to call for help in cases such as a collapsed patient for which 'code blue' needs to be announced and immediate resuscitation is required.
• Analyzed reports and findings to assess information and diagnose patients
• Perform procedures like suturing and aseptic dressing of the wounds, IV cannulation, passing foley catheter, NG tubes, withdrawing blood samples, and perform and interpret ECGs.
