1. Develop a plan for fund distribution and operational hierarchy between the federal government and provinces.
2. Addressing the grievances of employees of this department, and also of the Department of Workers' Education (DWE).
3. Overseeing relevant projects of the Fund, this included hospitals, schools, medical and educational bills, housing, etc.
4. Overhauling the Service and Employee Rules for clarity and efficiency.
This was a mandatory training period that aimed at instilling the officers with the right tools for successfully doing their jobs. We went on tours throughout Pakistan, had a military attachment, and learned about the workings of the state machinery. All skills of the officers were polished, and they were mentored by accomplished seniors.
