Overseeing the installation,repair & maintenance of various mechanical components including Steam Turbine, Compressors, Gear Box, Condenser, Heat Exchanger, all type of Pumps, Cooling Tower, Mechanical Clarifier, Sand Gravity Filters, Ultra-filtration, Reverse Osmosis and associated equipment's.

Carry out daily maintenance activities, planned and corrective maintenance on rotary and stationary equipment associated with plant.

Responsible for urgent rectification of Breakdown and diagnose the reason of fault appearance

To ensure compliance with the safety standards, procedures for safe execution of tasks including permits to Work, job hazardous analysis, task Risk Assessments, task instructions, tool box talks and precautionary measures in order to minimize risk and cost.

Maintaining all hand tools, Lifting tools & Measuring tools in optimal operating condition & updating record of tool calibration.

Carries out the complex fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on a Variety of Mechanical (Steam turbine, Compressors both centrifugal and reciprocating, pumps etc...) on the assigned production platform and remote well head platforms. Performs technical, craft specific corrective maintenance (example: Reciprocating Compressors troubleshooting and repairs). Identifies requirements for major repair, replacement and or workshop reconditioning work to be carried out. Updates preventive maintenance records. Receives incoming work requests, discusses work required with the Mechanical Supervisor, and estimates time, materials or spare parts required to complete the work. Receives schedule of repairs, with appropriate "permit to work" and arranges for tools, test equipment etc.

Carried out Overhauling, Condition Monitoring as per established Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance program for Critical Rotating equipment. Takes necessary vibration data, and looks for abnormalities and prepares a report on equipment in alert condition Maintenance & Trouble shooting of Machinery.

Maintaining the levels of Spares & identifying spare parts required for maintenance work, from Manufacturers' drawings and spare parts lists through "SAP" Inspection of incoming material in warehouse.

During my two years apprenticeship as a Mechanical Technician, I gained theoretical & practical knowledge in various maintenance activities.
