Habib Ur Rehman Mahsud

Habib Ur Rehman Mahsud (Urdu: حبیب الرحمان محسود), born to the ethnic Pashtun Mahsud family of South Waziristan Upper District, on July 20, 1975, AD, in Tank City, District Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. He grew up in Tank City and postgraduated from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan in the year 1999, AD. He then joined Government service primarily as an officer in Pakistan Bait-ul Mal (PBM) in the year 2004, AD. Afterward, he was selected through initial appointment in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), hence, began his career as an officer in Pakistan’s apex anti-corruption agency in the year 2006, AD.

Habib Mahsud, has several years of extensive experience in the field of white collar crimes investigation including financial crime, special operations, anti-money laundering, misuse of authority, detection and prevention of frauds, intelligence & security operations, Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) for detection of assets and illicit enrichment abroad under “United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC)”, illegal gratification, assets beyond means, forensic analysis of counterfeiting, cheating public at large, sting operations, raid/ trap and search operations, team management, head and coordinate the operations of “Combined Investigation Teams (CITs)”in cases as a Case Officer/ team leader, Awareness and Prevention of Corruption and Corrupt Practices and other law enforcement related functions, since 2006, AD.

Habib Mahsud, is still serving this land of pure with utmost sincerity, dedication, motivation and diligence to the best of his abilities, hence, recovered huge defalcated public funds in billions and restored the same to the appropriate Government. Moreover, he filed many References in the court of law for trial of the perpetrators of crimes and got them convicted, in accordance with law.
