Carried out internal audit assignment

An Advisory assignment for verification of Hajj Group Organizations (HGOs)

Supervised a team during carrying out this assignment, basic purpose of the assignment was verification & evaluation of property tax charged by excise department.

• Duties included: Issuing sales invoices, dealing with statutory returns, Assisting internal / external auditors with queries, chasing outstanding customer accounts, resolution of invoice queries including credits, assisting with sales / purchase ledger duties and payroll, general ledger entry including accruals and prepayments.
• This position called upon many skills I had learned as part of my degree and tested my ability to put them into practice in a ‘real world’ situation.
