• Company Overview: Ghaus Muhammad Jameel & CO CAs (BizCon LLP) is a chartered accountant firm primarily engaged in external auditing. Other services are ERP implementation, capital investment appraisals, financial projections and business plans, bookkeeping, income, and sales tax planning. I am serving as the Audit Manager with the following job description:
• Led audit engagements across diverse industries, including manufacturing, retail, services, and not-for-profit sectors, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulatory standards.
• Reviewed audit files for quality assurance, risk management, and adherence to internal audit methodology.
• Managed client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for audit-related matters, resolving technical issues, and delivering clear recommendations.
• Assisted in developing audit strategies, engagement budgets, and timelines, ensuring efficient and timely completion of assignments.
• Provided training, coaching, and performance feedback to junior staff, contributing to talent development and team retention.

• Company Overview: Buggy is a member company of VGM Group, a leading LLC in US car rentals, which has outsourced its IT, finance, compliance, and customer support services to MMS Outsourcing Solutions. It has a fleet of almost 10,500 cars, which are deployed to Uber, Lyft, etc. or individual drivers to provide transportation services in different states of the USA.

The following are my incumbents who reside under my job description as a senior staff accountant on the U.S. side;

• Cash flow weekly reporting to the board of directors.
• Preparing reports for monthly accounting closure using Microsoft 365, Dynamics BC, Acumatica, and QuickBooks Online.
• Variance analysis of actual vs. forecasted in FP&A software, Adaptive.
• Reporting monthly basis revenue from ERP (BOS) to Microsoft 365 BC, and preparing reconciliations with accounts receivables, along with aging.
• Fetching reports from Power BI and performing FP&A analysis.
• Ensuring the recording and accuracy of expenses from Expensify.
• Assisting the Corporate Controller and CFO in documentation.

Below are my duties as manager of accounts and finance for a local company.

• Managing finances and the preparation of management accounts on a monthly basis.
• Assurance of the completion of accounting transactions in QuickBooks Online with accuracy.
• FBR and SECP correspondence, as per local litigation and compliance.
• Preparation of financial statements and obtaining audited financial statements from a CA firm.
• Compilation of monthly payroll and its electronic disbursement from the bank portal, as per the provisions of ITO, 2001.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly budgets for Pakistan and getting approval from the US CFO and COO during video conferences.
• Making e-payments in accordance with the FBR and ITO to payables.
• Collaborating with a tax consultant for monthly return filing under Section 165 of the Income Tax Ordinance.
• Checking and ensuring that cash and bank reconciliations are corroborating with the books.

• Company Overview: Retained by the CA firm to work as lead in many external and internal audit assignments with CA partner. Furthermore, establishing a record for local compliance and correspondence with regulatory bodies on behalf of clients. Maintaining data for the purpose of audit documentation as per relevant ISA(s). • Company Overview: Attained extensive practical experience in external audits of diversified clients including listed, unlisted, private limited, multi-national, co-operative society and government sectors. Participated with meticulous team for QCR by ICAP on behalf of firm’s clients. Scope of work, inter alia, included reviewing existing systems to identify control weaknesses and examining financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS.
