- ASTM D-2513 ( standard specification for thermoplastic gas pressure pipe. BG/PS/PL2 part 1( PE pipes and fittings for natural gas and suitable manufactured gas pipes. The compound used to manufacture pipes shall comply with ISO 4437. Material MFI test, Heat reversion test, Hydrostatic test and Tensile test reports on daily basis. Daily progress report documentation. Daily material dispatch documentation. Raw material check & balance . Final inspection test report with IO&PO. Major Responsibilities Regarding NDT:
- Ultrasonic testing of piping, line, storage tanks, pressure vessels and boilers
- Dye Penetrant Testing of piping, line, storage tanks, pressure vessels and boilers
- Magnetic Particle Testing of piping, line, storage tanks, pressure vessels and boilers
- Time of flight Diffraction (TOFD) of piping, line, storage tanks, pressure vessels and boilers
- Phase Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) of piping, line, storage tanks, pressure vessels and boilers
- Co-ordination with client & NDT sub ordinates
- Preparing daily inspection reports
- Interpretation of ISONIC (2005, 2010) PAUT/TOFD scan of different thickness
- Ensure that inspections/testing equipment at site are with valid Calibrations & working as per procedure
- VT of weld joints
