I am a Lead Data Scientist at TNB Energy Services, a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions in Malaysia. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a specialization in Machine Learning and Data Science, I have over six years of experience in developing and deploying innovative Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for electric power systems and time series data related projects. In my current role, I am developing a Machine/Deep learning model to enhance the reliability of power distribution networks by mitigating power outages caused by irregular load, faulty equipment, and extreme weather. I also utilize state-of-the-art forecasting and deep learning algorithms to forecast electricity demand, supply, and renewable energy generation. Previously, I led the development of Machine Learning models to forecast electric power consumption, supply, and pricing across various distribution networks in the USA and Philippines markets at Quantsys, a data-driven company that offers smart solutions for the energy sector. Additionally, I have conducted academic research, published scientific papers, and presented my work in high-impact factor journals and leading conferences, focusing on Machine Learning and Data Science applications for electric power systems and time series data.
