• I worked as a clinical observer at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital for 6-weeks
• During my attachment, I was rotated in different departments of acute medicine i.e., the Emergency Department(ED), Same Day Emergency Care(SDEC), Medical Assessment Unit (MAU), and Medical wards
• During my observer ship, I gained hands-on exposure to patient assessment, acute care protocols, and multi-disciplinary collaborations.

• Successfully managed healthcare operations across three major hospitals: CMH Rawalakot, Allied Hospital Bagh, and District Headquarters Hospital Bagh.
• Oversaw the implementation of the national health insurance policy under the Sehat Sahoolat Programme.
• Demonstrated strong leadership in optimizing healthcare services and ensuring compliance with health policies.
• Contributed to enhancing community well-being through improved healthcare delivery.
• Conducted detailed patient consultations and confirmed diagnoses to ensure accurate treatment plans.

MEDICINE: Attended extended OPD. In ward management of conditions like COPD, Asthma, Epilepsy, Hypertensive Emergency and Urgency, Stroke, and Heart failure under supervision. Also Attended medical emergencies and gained competency in procedures like blood sampling, ABGs, IV cannulation, catheterization, ascetic and pleural tap.

PEDIATRICS: Management of neonates in ICU and in ward management of major pediatric ailments under the supervision of seniors. Documentation of ward rounds and ordering investigations.

CARDIOLOGY: Management of critical patients in CCU and in ward management of major cardiac ailments like IHD, Heart Failure, and Acute Coronary Syndrome under the supervision of seniors. Documentation of ward rounds and ordering investigations.

GENERAL SURGERY: Attended extended OPD. Performed minor surgeries and assisted major surgeries in OT. Pre/post-op management of Surgery patients.

ORTHOPEDICS: Documentation of ward rounds and ordering investigations. Doing primary surveys in emergency and assisting seniors in the management of trauma cases including RTAs, sports injuries, and fractures.

ENT: Documentation of ward rounds and ordering investigations. Performed minor surgeries and assisted major surgeries in OT. Pre/post-op management of ENT patients. Also Attended ENT emergencies and gained competency in procedures like Anterior and Posterior Nasal packing and Foreign Body removal under supervision.

EYE: Attended extended OPD. Documentation of ward rounds and ordering investigations. Performed various procedures like Foreign Body Removal, probing, and Syringing.
