My teaching experience in universities has been an enlightening experience for me. I have developed teaching skills and enjoyed the high energy and passion for academics from university students. My PhD in Education has been an invigorating experience for me. I have learnt research skills and benefited from applying standardized test assessment in public schools and then analyzed the test scores using measurement models. My research project developed a standardized English language test for grade 7. Large scale assessment using objective select response items as well as descriptive and narrative writing tasks recommended educators to establish the validity and reliability of a formal test in order to overcome the deficiencies in informal teacher made tests. Focused Lecturer accustomed to collaborate with department faculty to support academic programme success. Drives student engagement and comprehension to meet established learning outcomes. Clear and concise communicator with expertise in moderating group discussions.
