• Patients with Ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and other neurological conditions requiring close monitoring, acute MI, Sepsis and its complications, Upper and Lower GI bleeds, Drug Overdose, Renal Failure and its complications were managed in HDU under supervision of relevant specialty consultants.
• Delivered age-appropriate medical care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric HDU patients.
• Monitored patients' respiratory status and use of BIPAP and made adjustments to promote stabilization and to assess if patient needs intubation and ventilation.

• I established this company in 2018 and was mostly for elderly and disabled. Our main objective was to prevent recurrent hospital admissions in aged population. Most of the aged patients were admitted in hospital after acquiring UTI or LRTI and if appropriate care was provided at home their hospital admission could be prevented
• During COVID pandemic, homecare got a new meaning and we were extremely busy and we expanded our services too.
• We catered huge numbers of patients and established full time nursing support and provided biomedical facilities too.

I am working as an in charge of Emergency in a 25 bed Hospital. We manage emergencies and admit trauma, medical emergencies not requiring ICU and general surgical emergencies.

• Kept detailed records of histories to provide best-in-class and individualized care 0n follow up.
• Performed physical exams on patients, continuously communicating about patient needs and comfort levels.
• Participated in countrywide HCV eradication campaign of Aga Khan University and was involved in Diagnosis, Management and follow up of treated cases. More than 250,000 patients were screened and more than 10,000 were treated.
• Completed minor surgical procedures and was at first point of care for minor emergencies.
• Designed individualized plans with patients for chronic illnesses for example Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Ischemic Heart diseases etc.
• During COVID pandemic, worked remotely with multiple specialty consultants and performed physical exam and history taking. worked in TELE-HEALTH extensively.
• Identified serious conditions and emergency situations and immediately referred to hospital for prompt care.

• Basic Health Units (BHU) are Government owned remote and rural primary health care setups with wide range of services offered.
• BHU has one doctor for outdoor and emergency services, team of midwives for 24 hour Obstetrics antenatal and post partum support services and counselling. Normal deliveries were performed at the center and patient was referred to nearby hospital in case referral was needed.
• Vaccination campaigns and education of public at large regarding prevention of communicable diseases for example Tuberculosis, Viral Hepatitis, COVID-19, Typhoid, Tetanus etc are arranged regularly. Vaccination of children and pregnant ladies is done as per government schedule and guidelines.
